Avinash Hinduja
Chairman, Hinduja Hotels
The Hinduja family began their business, Hinduja Hotel & Lodge Marwari Restaurant, in Lonavala, Maharashtra, in 1945, before India’s independence. Currently, Avinash Hinduja serves as the Chairman and Owner of Hinduja Hotels Corporation. The Hinduja family offers a collection of ten unique properties in Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, rural Rajasthan (Osian), Surat (Gujarat), Lonavala (Maharashtra), Nainital (Uttarakhand), and Mount Abu. Each hotel is rich in history, featuring a modern aesthetic and an eco-conscious approach. Our mission is to transform some of India’s finest heritage properties into iconic destinations for contemporary travelers. We pride ourselves on excellent food, result-oriented management, and beautiful ambiance.
Upon venturing into the mountains and foothills of Mount Abu, a region known for its grand celebrations in Rajasthan and Gujarat, we anticipated a challenging journey. We chose Mount Abu to promote Hinduja Corporation and make it self-sufficient. We aim to offer national and international travelers a comprehensive experience of Rajasthan’s key attractions.
Our goal is to provide camp and resort services in a fair and transparent manner at affordable prices. Rather than following the traditional, established norms, we focus on offering economical accommodations to the middle class, newly married couples, and business families. To achieve this, we acquire new hotels, resorts, and camps to minimize unnecessary expenses and taxes for our guests. We are committed to revolutionizing the hospitality industry by maintaining fair and transparent practices, providing an experience akin to enjoying T20 cricket: more enjoyment for less money in smaller spaces.
We understand that the journey is long and time-consuming, but we are dedicated to upholding the principles and ethics of the Hinduja family.
Vision: To be the protectors of the planet, not just owners. Expand the industry.
Objective: Improve quality and standards, achieve a global presence, and promote the domestic market and Indian tourism.
Goal: Complete the construction of 10 hotels and resorts by 2025, establishing an international hotel brand that represents our home country.
